Molly Wilkinson Chavers
Executive Director, Indy Hub, Inc.
Molly’s epic journey up I-70 to Indianapolis began in Terre Haute, Indiana where she was born and raised. In 1998, she graduated from DePauw University with a double major in political science and communication. A semester in Washington, D.C. spurred an interest in public policy and politics, and when she landed in Indianapolis in the fall of 1998, she found herself working in the office of Governor Frank O’Bannon. Molly was hired by the Indiana Democratic Party in 1999 and worked her way up from multi-purpose girl to Deputy Campaign Manager for a U.S. senate campaign then becoming the Government Relations Liaison for Central Indiana Health Systems and St. Vincent Hospital until early 2002.
In May 2005, Molly landed her soul gig – helping the Indianapolis young professional community make its mark on our great city. A self-described cheerleader for her new hometown, Molly strives to make Indy Hub a resource for anyone looking to get involved in the city, develop their leadership potential, or find people who share a common passion.
